My tests since September 2026 cover 70 images from ChatGPT and Gemini: their respective OpenAI and Google checkers found no SynthID after processing in all 70 (100%). Detection can still occur in other images; a finished result cannot establish who created it.

I've put a lot of work into making image processing as good as I can, paying close attention to readable text and natural facial details. That attention to detail calls for significant computing resources. At recent usage levels, compute alone works out to around US$0.10–$0.20 per completed image on average, with costs varying between images. My aim is to reduce prices over time as more people use the tool and I improve its efficiency.

New verified accounts receive one image credit, once per email across our websites.

Your signup credit appears in your balance and never expires.

Your API requests use image credits and do not use your free website allowance. Standard processing uses 1 credit per image, or 0.5 credits each when you upload 5 or more. API documentation

Your daily free image is used before image credits, when free capacity is available. We deduct credits only when your completed image is ready to download.

Failures and pre-completion cancellations use no credits; completed results with quality warnings use the agreed credits.

An account balance is not refunded automatically. To discuss a payment or processing issue, contact support@removesynthid.com and we may provide a refund, credit or suitable compensation. Refunds that are approved use the original payment method; closing the service means unused funds will be refunded.

You have one hour to download a completed image. Save the file before it expires. Deletion after completion does not undo the charge.
