Image processing
Image files go through a third-party processor using private temporary storage. Inputs are erased after either processing or failure. Successful results have a download window of up to one hour, backed by a final 24-hour storage deletion rule.
Optional provider checks
The OpenAI checker sends your chosen image to OpenAI only with separate permission; OpenAI says this check is not eligible for Zero Data Retention. The Google checker opens Gemini for a direct upload to Google. Each check is subject to its provider's terms.
Abuse prevention and records
Anonymous browser and keyed network identifiers support service limits without retaining raw IP addresses. Upload records are temporary and are removed after seven days. A compact processing history remains indefinitely, containing opaque job and batch references, times, outcomes, dimensions, costs and numerical processing measurements. It does not contain image files, filenames, extracted text, account details, network identifiers or access credentials. Cloudflare may handle normal request data to provide network security and analytics.
Accounts and sign-in
If you create an account, we retain its email address, associated Google or GitHub user identifiers and hashed login/session credentials. A code or OAuth challenge is valid for 10 minutes; a session is valid for 30 days. Routine cleanup deletes expired authentication data. We retain neither passwords nor card numbers, and we do not save GitHub access tokens. Cloudflare handles code delivery and the one-time new-account welcome email, with Google and GitHub providing their own authentication flows. GitHub permissions are limited to email addresses rather than repository access.
API keys
API access retains names, masked prefixes and keyed hashes, without storing complete API keys. You see a newly created key only once. Keys can be revoked in your account, and revoked records are cleared after seven days. API uploads share the temporary storage and deletion timetable used for website uploads.
Payments and account deletion
Stripe manages payment information. Dollar-balance entries and minimal payment/refund receipts are retained for seven years apart from image files. Financial records contain opaque job references, with images, filenames and extracted text excluded. Request deletion or a refund of unused balance by contacting support from your account email; records required for payments, disputes and applicable obligations may remain.
Support mailbox
Messages to support@removesynthid.com, including permitted attachments, go to a private operator mailbox so we can reply. Active conversations are kept until deletion by an operator. Trash can be deleted after 30 days, with removal at the next daily maintenance run. Cloudflare provides routing, storage, access control and transactional delivery for the mailbox. Do not include credentials or highly sensitive personal details.
Feedback answers and an email supplied for a response are kept here with the same mailbox retention periods.
Measuring pricing layouts
To improve the funding experience, we measure offer views and confirmed payments against a random browser identifier while comparing layouts. Image processing prices do not vary in this test. Individual experiment records are removed after 90 days, leaving aggregate numbers with no browser or account IDs. No advertising network or analytics service receives these measurements.
The control below lets this browser opt out of future pricing measurements. We honor both Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track as well. Account access and payment remain available.
Tracking and controls
We use no advertising pixels, advertising profiles or data-broker integrations. Essential browser storage supports active jobs and quota tracking. Small previews stay in your browser alone for the current upload batch. Previews are removed when you delete an image, begin a new batch or revisit an expired batch. Select “Delete now” when available, or contact support@removesynthid.com. Never email credentials for a job.
